100 Days of Summer

Day 21

The neighbour baled our hay last night, and rain is coming so hubby watched the sunset while driving back and forth across the field to get the bales put away somewhere dry. By the time I got home, he was just finishing up. Hopefully a few nice rains will mean we can get a second cut of hay later in the summer. If we don’t, that will mean we will run out of hay in the winter and have to take our chances trying to find someone who has extra they are willing to sell. Our horse and pony go through a single bale in about 3 weeks, so we need a few more than we got from this cut.
